My new CD
My new CD is dedicated to our sister Brittany Murphy, in her memory...
This last project, I have been blessed with a Base player Peter Marshall as both a friend, and a sailing buddy. This man possesses a great command of the Upright bass, his sense of time and melodic artistry just blows me away whenever I hear him play. The Orator Reed Gibson is a man I met at Calvary Church in Ventura that has a true heart for The Lord, and a uncompromising thirst for Gods Word. He took the rains in his hands, and rode this trail long and hard. Just hear the man, and you will come away with a sense of Gods Word and be better for it.
On Trumpet is Roger Bridges. The notes he plays speak for themselves. The m
an plays with that combination of Chet Baker and Miles Davis, but sings with his own voice. I am so pleased to have him on this CD, he was kind enough to contribute to the cause, and did a beautiful job of it on such short notice. Myself, Im playing Sax, Electric Bass, and drums on the project. Im just thankful that God has been so good as to let me work with these men and this music.

This has been a truly blessed road, from the fires of hell to the Grace of God. The surprise, and the loss of our sister Brittany Murphy Bertolotti has left us all in stunned and shaken. Its not money, position, or properties...Its not being admired by our fellows, or even how the world views us that means anything. Its just how much we have managed to Love, wile living in an environment that imposes false reflection upon us at every turn. The proof of Gods existence lies in each one of us, but more important it lies in our capacity to Love. I'm sure Britt is finely being embraced by something real, rather then being hugged by the Hollywood impostors she has had to endure wile living here in this temporary existence we call Life. WE all miss you very much Brittany.
