Please give the page 10 seconds to load up...Jazz from the 50's and 60's, to the 70's where it just screamed out loud ... After living 55 years, and watching Jazz go from what it was to what it is today, the only thing I can do is go back to the roots in order to paint a vivid picture of what Jazz is in its raw form. Over the years I have watched this pure art form get watered down into something I can't even listen to anymore. The Music schools have manufactured great technicians and very challenged artist in terms of having any real authenticity or voice of their own. But thats just my take on it.
